D&I

I see scientific development as a collaborative effort. The narrative of the great scientists “geniuses” who, by themselves, achieve groundbreaking discoveries seem to fall short for today’s challenges. I firmly believe that high-quality research can only be developed by diverse teams that work together to solve complex problems, every individual bringing their unique perspective.

Diversity in research and in education, in my opinion, relates to cultivating and welcoming individual talents and different backgrounds. It can only be achieved by having safe and open environments where people feel welcome and included.

At TU Delft, I am a member of EDIT, the Diversity & Inclusion Team of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. Feel free to reach out if you want to discuss or have suggestions on any D&I topics related to the faculty (students and staff).
